Hey guys! I’ve seen this sandy-caramel smokey eye all over this season, especially every time I walk by Guess. Guess always seems to have the best pictures when it comes to their store ads–the girls always look so flawless and bronzed and not sweaty at the beach! Here’s the video!
Look at these pictures of the models from the latest SS2014 collection! Doesn’t their makeup look amazing?
This look is perfect for the fall/winter season ahead! Even though we don’t have seasons here in Singapore I still like to kind of follow the fall/winter colors and go for darker nail colors and vampier lips. This look can also be seen in my most recent vlog:
Hope you guys like this look, and make sure that if you live in Singapore you watch this video for details about my upcoming meetup, and come join me on Saturday, November 16th, 2013 from 3-5 PM at NineThirty by Awfully Chocolate @ Esplanade! I’d really appreciate if you came because I’d love to meet you all! Hope to see you there!
K-Palette was kind enough to send me this amazing limited edition eyeliner! Loved by many, it’s now one of my new favorites! It’s easy to apply, super dark, and it lasts forever! Here’s my review:
The limited edition packaging, designed by these 5 girls from BLEA in Japan, and voted the best design by the student body.
here’s what the eyeliner looked like in real life
as you can see, it can create strokes of many different widths, from vermicelli to linguine
Although it claimed to be able to last for 24 hours, it definitely disappeared after one of my 5k runs, which is not surprising considering the amount I sweat.
As you can see in these close up shots, certain parts of the line remained, though they faded to a dull, gunmetal color, but that is only expected with vigorous cardio. The lasting power is still amazing, regardless, and while it’s not shower-proof, it is splash-proof, tear-proof, and most importantly, smudge-proof.
I can honestly say that I have found a new favorite! I love using this eyeliner in the mornings because it’s just so easy, and I don’t have to worry about setting it so that it doesn’t move during the day.
Run down to your nearest Sasa to get this limited edition eyeliner at $19.90, (which isn’t bad btw), or to any Watsons to pick up just the regular black or brown eyeliner. This is a totalmust-have!
I hope you guys enjoyed this blogpost and video, and some of the pictures I used are by K-Palette and were included in the press kit–I’m sure you can tell which ones. I know I’ve been doing a lot of sponsored blogposts lately, but just as a reminder, all opinions are always 100% honest and my own, and I can only hope that someday a company will pay me for my work!
